Which bike light is best for me?

Indentifying the best bike light for your needs will depend on how and where you intend to use your lights. At Lucasbikelights.co.uk we have developed three key ranges of bike lights designed to meet the needs of occassional and frequent cyclists in both on and off road conditions:

DURALIGHT, QUICK EASY AND DURABLE BIKE LIGHTS

If you are riding on well lit roads or during the early dusk period then you might consider our DURALIGHT range.  This range will greatly improve your visibility to other road users offering up to 100 lumens of light output (see our explanation on terminology).

KING OF THE ROAD BIKE LIGHTS

The Lucas King of the Road lights are ideal for riding on poorly lit roads or off road terrain such as country parks or canal towpaths.  With a light output from 200 lumens to 600 lumens these lights enable other road users to see you well in advance and due to the light intensity can illuminate oncoming obstacles such as potholes or drain covers.

TRAIL BLAZER OFF ROAD BIKE LIGHTS

Off road riding is fast becoming popular amongst keen mountain bikers and to get the adrenalin flowing many now enjoy the thrill of riding at night.  For trail conditions the rider needs a wide, extremely bright and tough light.  The Lucas Trail Blazer offers incredible output from 1000 lumens up to 2000 lumens.

It is a legal requirement to use a front and rear bike light from dusk until dawn so choosing the right bike light for your own requiremnts is essential to help to see and be seen day and night.
